3. — Three squares

So, summarize the above description of the creation of the Mandala of Characters, we are now at this stage, which I show in the diagram below.

In the above diagram, we can see 12 types of characters marked as black points around the circle.

Each point is indicated by number and name.

Numbers are outside of the circle. These numbers derived from the Enneagram. In the Enneagram, there are 9 types. So, in the Mandala Characters, I added three types to typical Enneagram.

Names are in the callouts (speech balloons) inside the circle. Names derived from Jung’s typology. In Jung’s typology, there are 8 psychological types. So, in the Mandala of Characters, I added four types to Jung’s typology.

In the above diagram, I did not show the indications of psychological state for particular types. Putting these states for all types in one diagram is difficult. So, I will present these states for every type separately. And I will also briefly describe them.

Above we can also see three squares. Each square contains four types of characters. In other words, we have 3 groups of types, and every group has 4 types.

Besides on every side of the square, there are arrows. These arrows show movement while changing our psychological states. When our psychological stage is challenging we behave similarly to another type of character. So, we can say symbolically that we are moving to another type of character.

So, let’s start with the first square.
