30. Three squares on the Mandala of Characters

In the previous chapter, I showed twelve individual mandalas for twelve types which I distinguish in the Mandala of Characters.

These 12 types of characters we can arrange in three squares. It means, 12 types of characters we can divide into:
— 3 groups,
— and each of these three groups contains 4 types.

Earlier in the chapter — “12. Three squares”, I have already presented simplified diagrams of these three squares. In this chapter, below, I show how these three squares look on the main diagram of the Mandala of Characters.

Square — 1

On the first square we can see the following types of characters:

• Moist Air,
• Cool Water,
• Dry Earth, and
• Hot Fire.

Square — 2

On the second square we can see the following types of characters:

• Wet Water,
• Cool Earth,
• Dry Fire, and
• Hot Air.

Square — 3

On the second square we can see the following types of characters:

• Air,
• Water,
• Earth, and
• Fire.

In the chapter — “12. Three squares”, where I have presented simplified versions of the above squares, I have also put a brief description of these squares. Now, below, I put also this description. Thanks to this, we do not have to go back to chapter 12.

So, in the above diagrams, we can see what types of characters are in each square.

Broadly speaking, four types of characters which are in one square:
— form one group of types,
— and the psychological states of each of these four types are also located on this square.

The fact that each type has its psychological states differently arranged we could see in the previous chapter. In the case of types belonging to one square, the situation is very interesting because their psychological states are arranged in the same square.

From this, it follows that four types from one square are moving in this square. Specifically, the four types belonging to the same square move between their psychological states along the sides and diagonals of the same square.

Since four types of characters move around one square, then it is good to know the other types that belong to the same square as our type. This can help us learn more about our own character. For example:

• People from the types were are our Strong Self-Esteem States (Power States) can give us high self-esteem, or they can cause that we will feel more powerful.
• People from the types where are our Soft Self-Esteem States (Vulnerable States) can lead us to low self-esteem, or they can cause that we will feel vulnerable.
• People from the types where is our Unconscious State (or Complementary State) can cause us to connect with our Unconsciousness. They can also complement us in some way. Then we can, for example, do things that we consciously do not usually do, or we may behave in an unusual way for us.

In addition to the above examples, people from our square often have a strong influence on us. There may also be various specific dependencies between representatives of our square. So, we can generally say that learning about the behavior of people from our square can tell us a lot about ourselves.

All in all, these various close relationships between character types from one square convinced me to divide 12 types, as I presented above. It means:
— into 3 groups (that is, 3 squares),
— and each of the three squares contains 4 types of characters.
