Update 1.20 ― Change the word “science” to the word “knowledge”.

In this update, I decided to replace the word “science” with the word “knowledge”.

“Science” we can find in the bottom left corner of the Mandala of Characters in a set of words and phrases describing this area of the Mandala. Here is this set:

Below also I put a diagram of the Mandala of Characters in version 1.19, where we can find above concepts and phrases.

Working on the Mandala of Characters from time to time, I analyze its individual elements over and over again. Still, there are some doubts in my head which I try to dispel. Besides, even more, new doubts appear to dispel. In general, I can say that dispelling doubts is one of the main methods of developing the Mandala of Characters.

So, I was considering once again on the word “science”. At some point, I began to think that this word does not quite accurately reflect the behavior of the types of characters which we can find in this area of the Mandala of Characters. I mean the following types: Dry Fire and Dry Earth.

Figuratively speaking, these types have a sort of hunter’s instinct. There are constantly looking for, or they are trying to track down some valuable information, methods, developments, important details, necessary changes, interesting things, etc.

Besides, these types, to the greatest extent of all types of characters, are able to be “here and now”. Thus, they can assess the given situation on an ongoing basis. Often they are the most up to date. As a result, they are able to make decisions very quickly and react in the right way. It means, react in the right way in their opinion. Or I should say, react quickly in the way which is useful for them.

To briefly describe these features, initially, I used the words “science” that I put in the mentioned above set of words. Among other things, I thought that these types follow “science”. However, I found later that these types more than “science” follow simply “knowledge”. They follow “knowledge” that can be useful for them at the given moment.

Also, I think that to the present, that is, to “here and now”, “knowledge” is more appropriate than “science”. “Science” can often be associated with something long-lasting. With something that takes time, with a lot of work, planning, organization, with various means or resources that we need to provide research, etc.

In this place of the Mandala of Characters, however, it is more about the “knowledge”. The “knowledge” which we can use immediately, without delay, with as little as possible effort or involvement. It means, with as little as possible involvement of: means, cost, work, effort, time, etc. So, the “knowledge” has the way that we can use it already “now”. For example, at the given moment when there is an occasion or opportunity which we can catch and use for ourselves.

“Science” is rather a broad concept. Concept, which actually goes beyond this what happens in this area of the Mandala of Characters.

“Science” therefore needs many connections between elements located in different areas of the Mandala of Characters.

Besides, the whole Mandala of Characters we can consider as science. That is, as some kind of science.

Summarizing the above, I decided that it is worth to replace the word “science” with the word “knowledge”.

In that case, the set of concepts and phrases that we can find in this area of the Mandala of Characters will look like this:
